Semana Civica Ecuatoriana​

​

  • 1st is Ecuadorian Civic Day “El primer Grito de Independence” (the First shout of independence) yearly Proclamation from the City of Orlando. We host a cultural reception with dance and music.

  • 2nd Annual Gala fundraiser “La Fiesta de Gala de la Semana Civica Ecuatoriana”.

  • 3rd El encuntro Deportivo/ Sporting Event with Ecuadorian Professional soccer player from around the country.

  • Large and small erasers

  • School Supplies Program serves school-aged children (Pre-K - 12th grade)

UPE Live Radio Program

Free Public Broadcasting on Fridays from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Christmas Joy / Toys for Tots Program

​

Unidos Por Ecuador of Central Florida collects and distributes toys to infants (ages 0-12 months), toddlers (ages 1-3 years), children (ages 4-12 years) and teenagers (ages 13-19 years). We collaborate with Toys for Tots Marines, Baby DJ 106.7FM and Jesus the light of Life Outreach Ministry.

Citizenship Services / Workshops

  • Unidos Por Ecuador of Central Florida provide educational workshops which inform those eligible to apply for citizenship on the application process. We also complete citizenship applications with staff and volunteer attorneys. In collaboration with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

  • Consultation of eligibility

    • Legal review and assistance with your application

    • Information about English classes and citizenship

    • Financial assistance

    • Study material for interview with immigration

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program​

​

  • Unidos Por Ecuador of Central Florida established a partnership with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program to offer free tax preparation for people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English-speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax

Economic Self-Sufficiency (ACCESS)  & Florida Department of Children and Families

  • Unidos Por Ecuador of Central Florida is a Community Partner with the Department of Children and Families to help eligible families and individuals apply for Food Assistance Program, Temporary Cash Assistance and Medicaid Program.
